Inclusion Isle of Wight enables diverse community involvement through several key approaches:
Working with local businesses
We Welcome Local Businesses and Groups to Get Involved
At Inclusion Isle of Wight, we love working with local businesses and community groups. By joining together, we can create activities and opportunities that benefit both people using our services and the wider community.
We support people working with us to take part in community projects and activities. This helps build stronger communities and gives people a chance to use their time in positive and meaningful ways.
If you would like to donate your time, services, or ideas—or if you’re interested in partnering with us for an event—we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch at InclusionIOW@mpft.nhs.uk.
Service User Involvement
Your Voice Shapes Our Service
At Inclusion, we believe that everyone’s voice matters. We encourage people who use our service to get involved and share their ideas, from our local teams all the way up to our national meetings.
We hold regular Service User Voice meetings, where you can tell us what is working well and what needs to change. Managers attend these meetings to listen and respond, making sure your feedback is heard and acted on quickly.
At Inclusion Isle of Wight, we have service user representatives who join our national monthly meeting. They bring feedback and ideas from our local community and share them with the wider Inclusion team. This helps us spot common themes and make sure nothing important is missed. We always follow up on actions and let you know what’s happening next.
We want everyone to feel valued, listened to, and included. If we do something well, we share it with our other services. If something needs to change, we listen, apologise if needed, and work together to make things better.
We keep a record of the changes and improvements we make because of your feedback. This shows how powerful your voice can be and helps us build a service that truly meets your needs.
Volunteering
Ready to make a real difference in someone’s life—and your own? Volunteering with us is a rewarding way to support people at every stage of their recovery journey, while gaining valuable skills and becoming part of a welcoming, supportive community. We’ll help you find a role that matches your interests and provide the training and guidance you need to feel confident. If you’re looking to give back, grow, and be valued for who you are, we’d love to hear from you.
